OFFICE ERGONOMIC ASSESSMENTS
Ergonomic assessments are becoming
more and more necessary in today's
world of technology. Office work-
stations are designed to maximize
output but do not always consider
the human element. Home offices
are set up without considering
stability to the worker.
Ergonomics is concerned with fitting
the job to the worker. Ensuring that
the workstation is designed to fit the
individual is the first step in
preventing musculoskeletal injuries.
The employee will learn how to avoid
awkward postures, repetitive
movements and static positions
which can lead to injury.
